*Art Studies* is a large-scale academic journal of art theory, sponsored by the School of Arts of Southeast University and published by Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House. It has been continuously included in the CSSCI journal directory.

*Art Studies* primarily focuses on art theory, a first-level discipline, while also covering music and dance, drama and film studies, fine arts, and design. It emphasizes cutting-edge, in-depth, and unique perspectives. Regular columns include Academic Frontiers, Exploring Art History, Reflections on Art Theory, Tracing Art Popularity, Art Criticism, Art Aesthetics, Creative Communication, Art Design, Scholar's Notes, and New Book Recommendations, encouraging young and middle-aged scholars to publish academic papers.

*Art Studies* was founded in 2009. The journal's title was inscribed by Professor Zhang Daoyi, with Professor Ling Jiyao as advisor, Professor Wang Tingxin as chairman of the editorial board, and Professor Long Diyong as editor-in-chief. The editorial board members are renowned scholars from across the country.

*Art Studies* is published semi-annually, in June and December each year, with each issue containing 300,000 words. It is fully indexed by CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure). As of 2018, 20 issues have been published, attracting widespread attention from the academic community.
