The Southeast University Nanjing Alumni Association Art Branch successfully held its re-election meeting on the afternoon of March 22, 2026. The meeting, held amidst spring's warmth and renewal, brought together alumni representatives to renew their friendships and discuss the future of art. Zhu Wenjun, Executive Vice President of the Nanjing Alumni Association, attended and delivered a speech.

The Southeast University Nanjing Alumni Association Art Branch is composed of members from the Southeast University Art Center and Art Troupe, as well as graduates of the School of Art. The meeting successfully completed the re-election process, producing a new organizational structure for the Art Branch. Long Changming, a 1983 alumnus, was re-elected as President of the Art Branch, and Zhu Meishi, a 1984 alumna, was re-elected as Secretary-General. Several outstanding alumni from the School of Art also took up new positions in this re-election. Zhang Hailin (Master's 2014) and Bian Xiaodan (Master's 2011) were appointed as the new vice presidents of the Arts Branch; Liu Kai (Doctoral 2010) and Wu Pingping (Doctoral 2006) were appointed as the new deputy secretaries-general. Other members of the new council and secretariat are also composed of outstanding alumni from various industries and key members of the former Southeast University Art Troupe. At the meeting, Zhao Tianwei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Arts, congratulated the conference, thanked the university's Art Center, Art Troupe, and alumni for their long-term support, and introduced the school's achievements. She emphasized that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the School of Arts and the 120th anniversary of Mr. Li Ruiqing's introduction of drawing and handicraft classes. The school will hold a series of commemorative activities for the 20th anniversary and sincerely invites alumni to participate. She hoped that the new alumni association would uphold its original aspirations, unite its strength, and continuously deepen university-local cooperation and interdisciplinary integration to achieve win-win development. This conference further united the strength of the arts alumni, injected new momentum into the development of the alumni association, and helped Southeast University's aesthetic education and artistic endeavors reach new heights.
