On April 23, 2026, Chen Kaixuan, Party Secretary and Vice Dean of the College of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University, led a delegation including heads of the Department of Design Art, Department of Art History, Department of Fine Arts, and the Human Resources and Research Office to visit the College of Art, Southeast University. They held a symposium to discuss topics such as the development of art and design disciplines, talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and teaching reform.

Zhao Tianwei, Party Secretary of the College of Art, Southeast University, along with Vice Deans Cheng Wanli and Lu Wenchao, and heads of relevant departments and functional units, participated in the symposium. At the meeting, Zhao Tianwei, on behalf of the College, warmly welcomed the delegation from the College of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University, and introduced the College's overall layout and practical achievements in areas such as first-class discipline construction, faculty development, talent cultivation innovation, social service, and cultural inheritance, with "Intelligence + Art" as its main development theme. Both sides focused on core issues such as the path to building first-class art and design disciplines, talent cultivation mechanisms and evaluation systems, training models for young teachers, organization and application for national-level major scientific research and creative projects, mechanisms for the transformation of scientific research results, and undergraduate and graduate student enrollment and educational reform, exchanging experiences, sharing practices, and exploring development strategies. This research and exchange has built a good learning and mutual learning platform for the art colleges of the two universities, which will help promote both sides to continuously deepen reform and innovation under the background of the construction of new liberal arts, and jointly improve the level of art discipline construction and the quality of talent training.
