Currently, artificial intelligence and digital technologies are profoundly reshaping the paradigms of artistic creation, dissemination, and research, propelling comparative art studies to face new opportunities and challenges in theoretical innovation, methodological iteration, and paradigm reconstruction. Based on the contemporary context of global cultural exchange and mutual learning, and focusing on the innovative development of art disciplines empowered by intelligent technology, this conference aims to deepen fundamental theoretical research in comparative art studies, expand the boundaries of cross-cultural, cross-media, and cross-technological art research, and establish a high-level academic exchange platform in the domestic art studies field. The 7th Annual Academic Conference of the Comparative Art Studies Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Art Theory and the Academic Symposium on Paradigm Reconstruction and Cultural Exchange in Comparative Art Studies in the Intelligent Era will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on November 1, 2026. 1. This annual conference adheres to the principle of "participation by paper," and each participant must submit one unpublished academic paper.
